ITS Educational Technologies provides instructional technology applications and integration to support the University’s academic mission. The division includes: Classroom Support & Learning Space Design, Educational Technologies Systems & Services, and Liaison to the Center for Faculty Excellence.

Classroom Support & Learning Space Design

Classroom Hotline’s mission is to enhance the learning experience at UNC-Chapel Hill by supporting and maintaining innovative, easy-to-use technology classrooms. We provide on-site and telephone support, as well as technology demonstrations, to aid faculty in integrating the newest technology into their lectures.

Educational Technologies Systems & Services

Our Systems & Services team provides technical and instructional support for Sakai, the University’s central learning management system, and various applications integrated with the system. The group also supports services for students, including CCI Printing and Virtual Lab, providing instant delivery of applications to personal devices.

Liaison to the Center for Faculty Excellence

Our liaison to the Center for Faculty Excellence works with faculty members and academic units to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate the innovate use of instructional methods and technologies.
