Mural: Command Center, by ILL.DES

The Service Desk Student Union location features a mural, “Command Center,” by Denver, Colorado-based muralist ILL.DES.

The Command Center mural features blocky, brightly-colored shapes floating in space, creating a techno-futuristic vibe

ILL.DES seeks to immerse the viewer into a tech-inspired geometric world that captures the balance of energy between chaos and order. Having worked in the information technology field for many years, the artist draws inspiration from physical computer structures and the complex data systems that connect them. His work creates a visually striking narrative of abstract figures representing information systems and the communication these systems create in our daily lives.

Augmented Reality (AR)

“Command Center” includes an AR component that brings the entire mural to life. To view the mural in AR, download the Artivive app. Animation by JonnaP Arts.
