What are we doing?
ITS Enterprise Applications is upgrading the HR and Payroll component of ConnectCarolina to the latest version of the PeopleSoft HR and Payroll software.
Why are we doing it?
The upgrade ensures that ConnectCarolina, UNC’s instance of PeopleSoft, stays current with the latest software, incorporates new features, and leverages the latest security features provided by Oracle for PeopleSoft HR and Payroll.
How does this impact our UNC community?
Campus users shouldn’t notice any changes to the user interface in ConnectCarolina.
When is this happening?
The planning for this project began in October 2023 and is expected to go live in April 2024. ITS Enterprise Application will complete this project on May 31, 2024.
