What is it?  

HighPoint is a software package that will integrate with ConnectCarolina to provide enhanced functionality. Its implementation will introduce a modernized user interface for students and student administration offices.  

Why are we doing it?  

The change will improve the user experience by providing new functionalities for students and student offices. Students will be able to make online advising appointments, access campus walking maps, and plan courses based on their major’s requirements. 

How does this impact our UNC community?  

The enhancement will affect students and student offices such as UNC Advising, the Registrar’s Office, and the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid. The data won’t change for affected users but will be displayed in a different way. 

When is this happening?  

Changes are expected to be made during the winter break of 2024. However, some changes may happen later.
