Reminder: We’re making some changes to the Invoicing app in Office 365 Business Premium

Major update: General Availability rollout started
    Applied to: All Customers

As we previously communicated in MC147458 in August of this year, we’re making it easier for you to manage Microsoft Invoicing, and we’re changing the way you access the app and how you grant permissions to users. On December 10, 2018, Invoicing will be available from the app launcher in Office 365 Business Premium.

[How does this affect me?] Currently, you can grant user permission by adding users in your Microsoft 365 admin center under Settings / Service & Add-ins. Beginning December 10, 2018, you’ll be able to grant permissions by assigning Office 365 Business Premium subscription to users.

As a result of this change, your users will have access to Office 365 Business Premium. We recommend that you assess whether or not users in your organization need access to it. If you’re already using Invoicing, be aware that it’s now available in the app launcher.

[What do I need to do to prepare for this change?] There’s nothing you need to do to prepare for this change. Please click Additional Information to learn more.
