Usually I don’t have a “policy team” but this year I had a great one. My big project for the year was turning our formal, old-fashioned policies into sensible, plain-language documents. We did that to support the University’s equity goals, and it felt like a real win to do something tangible. Because of our brilliant Change Management team and a few others, too many to name, this was done well instead of “check-the-box.” I’m so thankful and proud of what great, generous, smart people can change when they’re asked to help do the right thing.
