Think you have what it takes to capture the spirit of UNC for an upcoming ad campaign?
Looking for the ultimate sample for your portfolio (or just bragging rights)?
We’ve got the contest for you!

One lucky winner (or team!) will see their designs on a full bus wrap and two side-of-bus ads this fall.

How to enter

The contest will have two rounds. In the first round, students are challenged to create side-of-bus ads in two sizes. Ad specifications and a full creative brief are available by visiting: http://go.unc.edu/adobe.

In the second round, a select number of finalists will be invited to submit a full bus wrap design to complement their initial submission. Designs will then be judged by a panel of creative professionals from UNC Information Technology Services, UNC Development and Adobe.

Requirements

Here’s what you need to know about entering the bus design contest:

  • Only students (undergraduate, graduate and professional) are eligible to enter.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud to design your submission. Don’t have it yet? Visit adobe.unc.edu for your free license!
  • Design can be submitted by individuals and/or teams.
  • Designs should be uploaded in both native file format (PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc.) and also in PDF.
  • Round one runs from March 13 – May 5.
  • A select group of finalists will submit designs during round two, taking place from May 22 – June 20.

Winning design

One winning designer or team will have their designs — including the full bus wrap! — unveiled at the UNC vs. Notre Dame football game on October 7.
