Carolina_Go

Starting today you can download the CarolinaGO app to your iOS or Android phone. From maps to dining to videos from around campus, the app is a one-stop resource for info on Carolina when you’re on the go.

The CarolinaGO project is a collaboration between a team of student developers and Information Technology Services (ITS). CarolinaGO is a great example of how students and the administration can work together to bring ideas to life.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with the student development team,” said Chris Kielt, Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. “They are a capable and thoughtful group of students.”

While individual campus websites contain bits and pieces of information, the goal of both m.unc.edu and the new native applications now available for iOS and Android is to provide a seamless mobile experience that puts valuable information at the fingertips of the user.

Download the App

Visit the iTunes App Store or Google Play and search for “CarolinaGO” to download the app to your phone.

Remember, you can also access m.unc.edu to use the same great features also available in the native apps.

Join the student development team today @ The Union

Stop by the Union today, Tuesday, October 28, to chat with the CarolinaGO student team, pick up swag, test out the app, and give feedback about features you’d like to see in future versions of the app.

This joint venture between ITS and the student development team was featured in ITS’ 2013-2014 Annual Report.
