Academic Outreach and Engagement
Mission
The mission of the Academic Outreach and Engagement team is to guide, establish and coordinate strategic collaborations with internal and external partners who share ITS-TL's goal to effectively integrate technology into the instructional mission of the University.
Goal
Working with the ITS-TL management team, Academic Outreach and Engagement establishes systems and procedures for tracking and managing key outreach contacts and projects across the organization. The team leads, supports, or contributes to ITS TL projects, as appropriate, to ensure the organization's strategies are implemented and goals realized.
Scope
Opportunities for collaboration are pursued internally (ITS), campus-wide, state-wide, nationally, and internationally. Potential partners include, but are not limited to, other higher education institutions, vendors, state and federal government agencies, non-government agencies, and foundations.
Approach
Using the ITS-TL and campus-level IT strategic planning documents as guides, Academic Outreach and Engagement identifies and prioritizes outreach strategies necessary to realize Teaching and Learning's organizational goals.
