Network Time Protocol (NTP) Server

Service description

NTP is a protocol built on top of TCP/IP that assures accurate local timekeeping with reference to radio, atomic or other clocks located on the Internet. This protocol is capable of synchronizing distributed clocks within milliseconds over long time periods.

Hours

  • In-service and emergency support: 24/7, subject to periodic scheduled downtime for system maintenance and repair
  • New service provisioning: Monday through Friday during normal University working hours, excluding observed holidays

How we calculate charges

Core campus service. There is no direct charge to customers.
