Service Description

Monitoring and alerting on the health of the core campus IT services delivered or managed by ITS. This includes:
  • Monitoring and alerting/notification for all network components to detect failures and degraded performance.
  • Monitoring of network traffic for security events and malicious traffic.
  • Facilitating stolen laptop tracking
Services being monitored include:
  • Email
  • Network availability
  • Blackboard
  • UNC web services
  • Remedy
