Research Training

Service Description

ITS Research Computing offers hands-on and lecture-style training courses to help researchers and students use central computing systems. In addition, we offer training courses and workshops targeting specific software applications, programming tools and coding techniques.

Courses are typically one to three hours in length, although some workshops are multi-day. All courses are held on the UNC campus.

Standard offerings each semester include:

Other courses may be offered as needed.

In addition, Research Computing can link you to other training resources offered through TeraGrid and other national programs.
