Service Description
This service is an RF (Radio Frequency) signal redistribution system for the UNC campus. The system is sometimes called a DAS (Distributed Antenna System) by commercial communication carriers. This is a partnership with the commercial cellular carriers to enable signal reception both inside and outside UNC buildings. It may be possible for other systems (like Emergency & Safety systems) to use this distribution system to attach their broadcasting communication systems, those systems are not part of the infrastructure plans or funding.Hours of Availability
