ITS offers a free Jabber server service to campus with limited support.

• ONYEN based authentication
• Username = <onyen>@jabber.unc..edu
• Server = jabber.unc.edu

Hours of Availability

This service is normally available 24x7 but support is only available during the businesss day (8X5).

Customer

Any UNC-CH affiliated person with a valid ONYEN.

Customer Responsibilities

Customer is responsible adherence to the UNC Network Acceptable Use Policy.
