Finding Technology Related Services

Service Description

There are all kinds of IT services on campus and beyond. Campus library staff can a) help you determine what kind of IT related service you need b) provide the service c) connect you with the appropriate campus, unit, or other provider of the service, OR d) partner with you in your use of technology. We want to save you time and make sure you find what you are looking for, whether it is equipment, training, software, expertise, or services.
  • Are you trying to find online test instruments? Data storage for lab staff? Tools to help students interact in and outside of class? Instruction on genomics web browsers? Design help for meeting posters?
If you have not found what you need, we might be able to find it for you and connect you with the right person! NOTE 8/30/10: This is not the only IT related service that campus libraries offer. Hours of Availability

You can request help any time and get a response the same-day or within one business day, dependent on weekends and holidays. Phone and walk-in service hours are dependent on the academic calendar. Anyone (from campus, North Carolina, the world!) may contact us for help. Many IT related services are free when used in the library, for example, some computer workstations, scanners, guest wireless, audiovisual viewing equipment, and reading electronic journals, books and using databases to find these materials. Others are available for a low fee, for example, laser printing.
