ITS provides the my.unc.edu portal.- Provides role based links to applications and information
- Customizable via AJAX “drag and drop”
- Role based porlets allow information targeted by programs and plans
- Integrated with Carolina Content CMS providing delegated content update
- Provides self service for updating personal (and directory) information
- Provides self service for managing address privacy
- Provides self service account creation (UNC guest or light weight Ids) for student and other perspective affiliates.

This service is available 24x7.Customer
Entire campus as well as off campus affiliates.
Customer Responsibilities
- Use of most portal services requires the creation of an Onyen (http://help.unc.edu/1687), or UNC guest id (http://help.unc.edu/CCM3_007536)
