Service Description

ITS offers a free Microsoft SharePoint service for web-based document management, collaboration and organizational workflow.
  • This resilient system allows ITS offer a highly available service to meet the needs of campus.
  • Internet Explorer is the preferred browser. Firefox and Safari are supported with more limited functionality.
  • Full cross-browser support will be offered in spring 2011.
  • Granular security - Site level, list level, item level.
  • Many plug-in productivity tools like calendar, documents, contact list, task/project list, etc. (See URL below for examples)

This service is available 24x7.

Customer

Faculty, Staff, and certain professional students by departmental request

Customer Responsibilities

Customer is responsible for all site management and content including management of access to site.

How Do We Charge

Departments are provided with 1GB sites at no cost.
