Enterprise Systems Automation Services

Each semester, the ITS Infrastructure and Operations division will facilitate course evaluations through the Carolina Course Evaluations program. To participate in the Carolina Course Evaluations program, each department must identify one Course Evaluations Subject Coordinator. The Subject Coordinator will:

1. Register as the Subject Coordinator.
   (If you have already registered, there is no need to repeat this process.)
   
   
2. Poll departmental faculty to determine which courses will be evaluated.
   
   
3. Select the courses to be evaluated on the online form.
   
   
4. Pick up the forms from the Exam Scanning office. The forms will be given to you in pre-labeled envelopes based on the selections you made on the online course selection site.
   
   
5. Distribute the forms to the participating faculty.
   
   
6. Collect completed forms from participating faculty upon completion.
   
   
7. Assure that all forms are properly oriented and identification information is indicated on the first sheet in each course/section stack.
   
   
8. Deliver ALL departmental Carolina Course Evaluations forms to the Exam Scanning office at one time.
   
   
9. Collect scanned forms from Exam Scanning office upon scanning completion.
   
   
10. Retrieve analysis results from the secure online Carolina Course Evaluations site. The results may then be printed and distributed per departmental guidelines.

    Please note: Each Subject Coordinator will only be able to view and retrieve results for the departments or subjects for which you are registered as a coordinator. Faculty members may retrieve their results online as well. The system will recognize each faculty member as the instructor for his/her course, and will only allow them to view/retrieve results for the courses he/she teaches.

• May 21 -- Registration for Subject Coordinator and selection of courses for which you need forms begins
• June 4 -- Last day to select courses
• June 9 -- Evaluation forms available for pick-up by subject coordinators
• August 29 -- Evaluation forms for SSI 2008 scanning are complete. Forms can be picked up, and results will be available.
  
  

• June 26 -- Registration for Subject Coordinator and selection of courses for which you need forms begins
• July 14 -- Last day to select courses
• July 16 -- Evaluation forms available for pick-up by subject coordinators
• September 5 -- Evaluation forms for SSII 2008 scanning are complete. Forms can be picked up, and results will be available.
  
  

• September 25 -- Registration for Subject Coordinator and selection of courses for which you need forms begins
• October 31 -- Last day to select courses
• November 17 -- Evaluation forms available for pick-up by subject coordinators
• March 30, 2008 -- Evaluation forms for Fall 2008 scanning are complete. Forms can be picked up, and results will be available.
  
  

• February 16 -- Registration for Subject Coordinator and selection of courses for which you need forms begins
• March 31 -- Last day to select courses
• April 13 -- Evaluation forms available for pick-up by subject coordinators
• July 31 -- Evaluation forms for Spring 2009 scanning are complete. Forms can be picked up, and results will be available.
  
  

• May 20 -- Registration for Subject Coordinator and selection of courses for which you need forms begins
• June 3 -- Last day to select courses
• June 5 -- Evaluation forms available for pick-up by subject coordinators
• August 28 -- Evaluation forms for SSI 2009 scanning are complete. Forms can be picked up, and results will be available.
  
  

• June 25 -- Registration for Subject Coordinator and selection of courses for which you need forms begins
• July 9 -- Last day to select courses
• July 14 -- Evaluation forms available for pick-up by subject coordinators
• September 4 -- Evaluation forms for SSII 2009 scanning are complete. Forms can be picked up, and results will be available.
