ITS to present on VoiceThread pilot
May 12, 2008 at 9:03 am | In Events, FeaturesCarolyn Kotlas, ITS Teaching and Learning, will demonstrate VoiceThread, an easy-to-use collaborative tool, at the May meeting of the UNC-Chapel Hill Scholarly Communication Working Group. The meeting will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, in room 214 of Davis Library.
ITS Teaching and Learning recently announced the UNC-Chapel Hill VoiceThread Pilot Project, which encourages faculty, staff and students to try the application and apply it to academic uses. All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the meeting and/or participate in the pilot.

Webmasters to host open discussion May 1
April 30, 2008 at 8:42 am | In Events, FeaturesThe next Webmasters meeting will take place Thursday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. in ITS Manning 5102. The meeting will provide a forum for open discussion, particularly about recent “hot topics” on the listserv such as Flash media server, iTunes and Onyen authentication for Wordpress and Joomla!.
UNC-Chapel Hill Webmasters meets monthly to discuss issues that affect webmasters across campus. Any UNC-Chapel Hill faculty or staff interested in participating can attend the meeting and/or join the listserv.

May IAIG to encourage discussion, collaboration

It will be held 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, in room 329 of the Health Sciences Library.
