Color printing debuts at Student Union computer lab
March 25, 2008 at 8:18 am | In Features, Instructional News, Service UpdatesA color printing program now allows students to print color jobs from the computers located in the Student Union computer lab at a cost of 30 cents per side. Double-sided printing is not recommended for color printing, but is an option for printing any document.
“This is the first phase of the pilot,” said Gina Platz, manager of the ITS Classroom Hotline and computer labs. “Although currently we can only offer color printing from the computers and color print station in the Student Union lab, we hope to phase in other options, such as wireless color printing and additional color print stations.”
The pilot is a result of a Student Government initiative and implemented in conjunction with Auxiliary Services.
