Faculty and staff invited to ERP kickoff celebration
August 29, 2007 at 7:32 am | In Events, FeaturesThe University’s multi-year initiative to replace most of its student, HR, payroll and finance applications is now well underway. The project, called Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), will touch every administrative system on campus. Now, faculty and staff have the opportunity to learn more about how it will affect them.
The ERP team invites faculty and staff to attend a campus-wide kickoff celebration on Wednesday, Sept. 12. The team will introduce the critical and complex ERP project at 2.p.m. in the George Watts Hill Alumni Center Ballroom.

Save the dates for upcoming IT conferences
August 27, 2007 at 7:36 am | In Events, Features, Instructional NewsThis year’s UNC CAUSE Conference will be held in Asheville, N.C., at the Renaissance Hotel Dec. 3-5. The theme of the conference is “Sharing our Knowledge of IT Excellence.”
The 2008 UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) Conference will be held at the Hilton North Raleigh March 12-14, 2008. The TLT Conference is co-sponsored by the UNC TLT Collaborative and the UNC Faculty Assembly. The 2007 UNC TLT Conference proceedings are now available online.
