Webmasters to host panel on DAM

On May 3, the Webmasters group will host a panel on digital asset management (DAM). Representatives from Carolina’s art department, ITS and the digital libraries at both UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke will summarize how their groups use DAM. Attendees are invited to bring their own questions.

Enterprise robots dramatically reduce tape numbers

Listserv tips can help list administrators

With more than 13,500 e-mail listservs supported by ITS Messaging, it’s likely that you or someone you know is a list admin, or thinking about becoming one. A listserv on the UNC-Chapel Hill listserver may be owned by anyone who has a current UNC-Chapel Hill Onyen. The listserv administrator is responsible for managing the list settings and membership. While maintaining a list is very easy, it takes some responsibility and know-how to set one up, and ITS is here to help.
