Update: Lenovo battery exchange begins Oct. 30
October 26, 2006 at 11:02 am | In Features, ITS AnnouncementsFaculty, staff and students with CCI laptops affected by the Lenovo battery recall may bring their recalled battery to the ITS Response Center in the basement of the Undergraduate Library beginning Monday, Oct. 30 to receive their new battery. It is not necessary to bring the laptop for the battery exchange.
ITS staff will return the recalled battery to Lenovo on behalf of those affected by the recall. Replacement batteries will have the same one-year warranty as the original battery.
The battery exchange will be available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. and until 5 p.m. on Friday. This schedule will remain in effect as needed.
