What computers will be affected by the recall?
The following models purchased between Feb. 2005 and Sept. 2006 may have batteries that are affected by this recall: T43, T43p, T60, R51e, R52, R60, R60e, X60, X60s. Additionally, customers who ordered an extra battery or received a replacement battery during that period may also be subject to the recall. CCI models that may be affected are T43, T60, R52, R60 and X60.

Reed to take part in Hurricane Katrina summit
