ITS launches new customer-focused Web site

A completely redesigned Web site for Information Technology Services made its debut today with a new customer-focused, service-oriented approach. The new site can be accessed at http://its.unc.edu and offers visitors easy access to information about ITS and the services ITS offers.

Whether site visitors need to “Get Started,” “Get Services” or “Get Help,” the new navigation scheme streamlines the process of finding the resources they need. Visitors can find information through numerous paths and the new content details the services ITS provides as well as information on who to contact for those services. A new “About ITS” section offers expanded information about ITS divisions and a much-needed collection of quick links to help visitors get to popular areas of the site.

In addition, visitors can take advantage of helpful layout components such as a section for syndication feeds, an updated sitemap, a quick services list in the footer and quick navigation through top and side navigation bars.

The vision for the ITS Web site is one of continuous improvement. Each page of the site includes a request for feedback, encouraging visitors to let ITS know about their experience with the site. Please visit http://its.unc.edu and let us know what you think!
