April 28 Freaky Friday to feature presentation on LDAP Directory

On Friday, April 28, at 1 p.m. in ITS Franklin G102, Scott Williams will provide a brief overview of the UNC-Chapel Hill Enterprise Directory architecture and the remote updater interface to the directory, followed by a detailed look at the directory model. He will describe how to get programmatic read-only access to the directory information using LDAP.

Reminder: Reed to present at IBM University Day April 26

Vice Chancellor for IT and CIO Dan Reed will be a featured speaker at IBM’s University Day, which will be held April 26 at IBM’s Research Triangle Park location. Reed will present on “Computing: A Catalyst for Innovation.”
