UNC webmasters provide resources via wiki
November 29, 2005 at 11:24 am | In ITS Announcements, Instructional NewsUNC Webmasters is a peer support group for those at Carolina involved in anything Web-related, from interface design to content management to systems administration. Monthly meetings, held the first Thursday of each month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in 404 Hanes Hall, provide opportunities for peer networking, presentations on campus Web resources, and discussions of current or new Web technologies.
The UNC Webmaster Wiki, a UNC Webmasters supported resource, provides information on designing and maintaining campus Web sites. Sample topics include:
– How to incorporate the UNC search engine into your Web pages
– Get your CGI programs working on UNC-CH servers
– Web accessibility
Join the UNC Webmasters listserv to have access to other campus professionals involved in Web development, design, and management.
