Usenet Services
Usenet, among the oldest of Internet services, still receives heavy use. UNC maintains a Usenet server that hosts campus-related newsgroups, and provides a Usenet gateway for use by UNC affiliates.
The components of this service are:
- Usenet News Server (news.unc.edu)
- Web-based Usenet reader
