VQ2A0024DanielleDeskLaptopiPad copyDid you update recently to OS X Yosemite? Are you also having Wi-Fi connectivity issues?

If you answered yes to both of these questions, you aren’t alone. Many Mac users on campus, around the country and around the world have been reporting Wi-Fi issues after upgrading to OS X Yosemite. As of October 27, 2014, no official fix has been provided by Apple.

ITS has identified one potential fix to the problem: delete all of your network settings and set up the network again from scratch. If you are unsure how to do this yourself, you can visit the HelpDesk or call 962-HELP.

It’s important to know that this issue is not limited to UNC-Chapel Hill users and is not an issue with the University network.

If you have not yet upgraded to OS X Yosemite, we strongly suggest waiting until this issue is resolved to upgrade. We will update this page as information becomes available.
