Locations

ITS has one main office location, ITS Franklin, and occupies space in the R.B. House Undergraduate Library, 211 Manning and Giles Horney.

Parking

Town parking is available in several public lots on Franklin Street as well as in on-street metered spaces.

Bus stops for the F and J Chapel Hill Transit routes are located directly in front of the building. Bus service is free.

Building information

Located in downtown Chapel Hill at 440 West Franklin St., ITS Franklin provides workspace and meeting rooms for ITS staff. The 45,000-square-foot building contains a machine room of nearly 5,000 square feet.

The building is not open for general access.

Other ITS locations

ITS Service Desk in the Frank Porter Graham Student Union provides technical support to the UNC-Chapel Hill community.

A UNC-Chapel Hill Facilities building, the Giles Horney building provides space for ITS warehousing operations for telecommunications and computer repair. This building is not open for general access.

Some ITS units, including the Computer Repair Center and Classroom Hotline, perform non-client-facing work in the R.B. House Undergraduate Library.

ITS maintains a data center at 211 Manning Drive, previously ITS Manning.
