Bell and Larissa Biggers Schraff of ITS Teaching and Learning Interactive was recently published in Kent State University’s Journal of the Research Center for Educational Technology.

Bell and Schraff ‘s article, “The Creation and Refinement of a Sustainable Multimedia Process in a Higher Education Environment,” discusses the successful media production process for instructional online products and provides a blueprint for the creation of a creative production team based in a higher education setting. The USENIX Association will hold a technical lecture entitled “Next Generation Storage Networking” on Thursday, Oct. 16 in the Hanes Art Center. The lecture begins at 1 p.m. followed by a question and answer session at 3 p.m. It is free of charge however registration is required. The lecture will explore ideas for leveraging existing hardware investments and for planning future migration strategies.

The speaker is Jacob Farmer, chief technology officer of Cambridge Computer Services, a national integrator of data storage and data protection solutions.

University faculty and staff are invited to the annual Employee Appreciation Event, “Fall for All,” held on campus at the Student Union and in the Pit on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
