Web Services designs new UNC Press site

On May 14, the University of North Carolina Press launched its new Web site at http://uncpress.unc.edu/. The site was rearchitected and redesigned by ITS Web Services.

Web Services offered consultation to guide UNC Press through the Web development process, redesigned the look and feel of the site and provided Web templates that enabled UNC Press employees to build their site out further themselves. Continue Reading


Online tutoring at home

It’s dark outside. And raining. A student needs help with a calculus problem, but doesn’t want to leave the residence hall to go to the Math Help Center, which closes soon anyway. What’s a student to do? With support from ITS Teaching and Learning this past academic year, two departments offered students online tutoring in the comfort and safety of their own rooms.
