Public health officials believe there is currently a heightened risk for pandemic influenza, and to prepare UNC-Chapel Hill for such a health emergency, the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Pandemic Influenza Preparedness suggested precautionary steps for departments, offices and administrative units.
