ITS Holiday Party

Let's show our support for UNC-TV!
The ITS Employee Council is just getting started on a new year and we want to start it off right. We invite you to join us in supporting the UNC-TV PBS station during their Festival 2006 fund-raising event. We have scheduled an on-camera volunteer session on Sunday, March 5 from 10:30AM until 3:30PM. The ACC regular season is over then and the tournament starts the following week so this won't be a conflict. We would like to have a group of at least 25 volunteers. There will be a brief orientation session to inform you of UNC-TV's pledge drive procedures. Several local businesses are providing food for the volunteers.
Directions to their studios can be found here. We will be on-air about 10-12 minutes at a time during the pledge breaks in the programs. Volunteers are asked to bring a photo ID and please avoid white or any busy print clothing. Please plan to wear solid colored clothing.

Ice Cream, Ice Cream!
By popular demand, it's... the Ice Cream Social!
The ITS Employee Council is proud to announce that we will be having our annual ITS Ice Cream Social on Friday, June 24th, 2005, from 2-3:30pm at the Forest Theatre. Several of your AVCs will serve as scoopers of a variety of flavors from Maple View Farms. In addition we will be featuring vegan ice cream from Weaver Street Market (please see below). We look forward to seeing you there!

Getting acquainted
