ITS Manning Bathroom Complaint
The bathrooms at ITS Manning are ridiculous. The water pressure is so high on the sinks that you either burn or freeze your hands and have to push both at the same time to get an acceptable temperature but the water only runs for about a second so you have to keep pushing the buttons to wash your hands. And it comes out so hard that your clothes get wet.
- Answer: The temperature has been adjusted to state regulations on those that were out of compliance. The faucets were put in to conserve water, also a state mandate. Any changes would need to come out of a department budget.
The soap is useless and doesn't later or clean very well. The soap dispensers get clogged and then soap squirts on the counter, on the floor, and on your clothes.
- The soap dispensers (and soap) are maintained by housekeeping. As the original soap dispensers break, new ones are being installed. If you find a dispenser clogged, please leave a note for housekeeping.
The toilet paper rolls allow you to get about 1 square of toilet paper before it breaks off. The toilets don't flush efficiently and you have to flush many times to get everything to go down.
- The toliet paper rolls were also installed with "conservation" in mind. Please be patient in getting paper off the roll and you can get as much as you need.
Several of the soap dispensers have never even been installed and just sit on the counter. I'd like the EC to make some inquiries about these issues to see if anything can be done about them. Thank you. (The water pressure issue could be alleviated by closing the valves somewhat but I'd really like to just see those horrible faucets replaced with usable ones).
- Valves have recently been adjusted as best they can.
