ITS Employee Council
Our Focus
- To be a conduit for the ITS staff to access leadership and other resources.
- To foster a collaborative working environment.
The Employee Council exists to work for the employees of ITS. We will do our best to address the issues that come to our personal attention but we cannot be effective without your participation. Please let us know what you think. You can provide your name and contact info or simply make a comment anonymously. You can also contact your division representative found on the Members page.

This new program allows ITS Employees to be recognized for exceptional service and performance either during work time or on an employee's own time. Awards will be given twice a year, with a maximum of 12 per award cycle for a maximum of 24 per year. Our first winners were honored at the January 24, 2008 Employee Appreciation Party at Bailey's. SECC
Many thanks to Jimmy Workman for his work as Division Leader for the State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC) in ITS. Thank you also to Mike Hawkins, Scott McCall, and Linwood Futrell for helping Jimmy reach folks in separate buildings. And huge thanks to all who participated. We increased participation by 50% and pledges by 16% this year! "You Make a World of Difference."
We had two wonderful events to beneift the SECC this year which also provided an opportunity for people in ITS to come together as a community. Scott McCall and his crew started a new tradition with a "Backlot Cookout" at ITS Manning on December 13th, 2007, and had a great turnout. And a record-breaking $644.15 was raised in ITS for the State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC) at its OKChili Cookoff on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007. See the story and pictures in The Hub.

EC Member Recruitment
We still need a few volunteers to represent their division as members of the Employee Council. We have a maximum of two years' service per person. Please consider volunteering to server as a representative for your AVC group. You can view current members in by clicking on the Members link. We need volunteers who are committed to working with and for their fellow ITSers to plan activities and functions for the coming year. We meet once a month as a group for a lunch hour but most of our work is done outside the meeting by Council members. We keep each other informed via our listserv.
Getting acquainted
