Office of the CIO
Information Technology Services is charged to move forward on our path of innovation and service as we support the University’s educational mission and meet the technology needs of our campus customers. To coordinate ITS initiatives, the Office of the CIO plans high-level, long-term organizational goals, strategic direction, performance management and process management, as well as addressing day-to-day operational concerns like resource management, operational planning and strategy alignment.
In addition to senior staff, the Office of the CIO includes ITS’ Administration group, whose responsibilities include financial planning and budgeting, human resources, benefits, facilities management and facility-related security for ITS. In addition, senior staff are developing new oversight for Project Management and Policy and Standards.
Moratorium on ERP-related Software Purchases The Provost has issued a revised moratorium communication on the purchase of all potential ERP-related software to avoid unnecessary cost and complexity to the ERP transition process. One previously imposed moratorium has been lifted while others are being reinforced. If you require an exception to the moratorium or are unsure whether you need one, please contact Larry Conrad in the Office of the CIO.
