Description: UNC-Chapel Hill is currently evaluating Sakai for teaching, research, outreach, and administrative purposes. Twenty-six faculty members from a variety of disciplines, representing 18 UNC courses and 411 students, are currently participating in the Sakai pilot, which is being led and managed by the Sakai Action Group.
While the first year of the pilot is drawing to a close, the Sakai Action Group recommends extending the program for an additional year to continue evaluating the feasibility of campus-wide implementation.
