Housing and Compensation
Residential Computing Consultants (RCCs) are required to live in specific on-campus ResNET reserved rooms during their tenure. All reserved rooms are air-conditioned and they are typically the more ideal rooms in each building.
Placements
Based on population and support needs, RCCs are strategically placed throughout campus so that the highest level of customer service is provided to the residents. We may have less flexibility regarding hiring students who are unwilling to move. Candidates will be given an opportunity to submit preferences, but they are, in no way, guaranteed their top choices.
This process of housing placement is a complicated one that takes many factors into consideration. Current RCCs get first pick with Housing assignments. As a result, high-demand buildings like Ram Village are filled by returning staff as opposed to new hires.
Compensation
For compensation, RCCs' housing fees are waived at the regular undergraduate hall rate. If the RCC owes any money to the University, the money from the room is applied directly to that bill. Any remaining monies are refunded to the RCC through the Cashier's Office.

UNDERGRADUATE HALLS (per student / per semester)
- Double, Triple, Quad, air-conditioned $2,525.00 (no cost to RCC)
- Resident Advisors $710.00 (no cost and no extra compensation to RCC)
- Morrison Super-Suites $2718.00 (RCC rate: $193.00)
Morrison Super-Suites are limited to RCCs due to high demand and housing policy.
RAM VILLAGE APARTMENTS (per student / per semester)
- Undergraduate, private bedroom (one person per bedroom), 3 or 4 person apartment $3027.00 (RCC rate: $502.00)
ODUM VILLAGE APARTMENTS (per student / per semester)
- Undergraduate, 2 Bedroom Apt, with a/c window unit $2,625.00 (RCC rate: $100.00)
(One person per bedroom) regular term

$5,050.00 credit for 12 month lease
