User Support
IT technical support is available to the UNC-CH computing community 24 hours a day 365 days a year. You can submit Help Requests using any of the following options:
Submit/Update a Web Request for Help
Follow this link to submit, update or check the status of a Request for Help via our online request form. Our goal is to assign your request to the appropriate group within 30 minutes, 24 hours a day. Resolution times may vary since some groups work business hours (M-F, 8am - 5pm).
Online Chat
Use our Online Chat service to chat live with a technical support person. This service can also allow the use of desktop streaming, where the support person, with your permission, can access your desktop to assist you with your problem.

You may call (919) 962-HELP 24 hours a day for personal assistance with your computing problem.
Walk-In
Walk-in personal help is available and the hours/locations are listed here: Walk-In Schedule.
On-site Support
Any student living in an on-campus residence hall may request ResNET On-Site Support. See the ResNET website for more details on the program.
