Expand your horizons with CBT

Did you know that ITS provides all faculty, staff and students with a free resource for learning on their own schedule? The University's computer-based training (CBT) service offers thousands of courses on technology, office productivity and business skills. Since the new computer-based training (CBT) service was implemented at UNC-Chapel Hill in June 2005, more than 5,600 UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, staff and students have subscribed. "We're excited that so many people have subscribed to computer-based training on campus. CBT continues to offer high-quality training to anyone with a valid Onyen, free of charge," said Elizabeth A. (Libby) Evans, academic outreach specialist. "Faculty, staff and students in all areas of campus can use these courses to improve skills they use every day and to learn new skills." After users sign in with their Onyen and password, they are directed to ElementK's site and can choose from the thousands of courses available to them.
