More than half of Internet users browse with Internet Explorer (IE). But a growing number of people use Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera and other browsers. Last month, about 60 percent of people accessing the UNC-Chapel Hill Web site used a version of Internet Explorer, about 20 percent used Mozilla Firefox and about 15 percent used another open-source browser (including other versions of Mozilla). At a time when Microsoft and Mozilla are both working to update their browsers and offer new features, you may want to take a second look at what you use to surf the Internet.
