Citrix Application Infrastructure
Introduction
ITS-DIS Citrix Application Hosting (Citrix Services) provides a fault-tolerant, highly available system using terminal services to deliver ITS developed applications to University departments. Our Citrix Services feature server fail over and server load balancing, and also utilizes a web delivery system using NFUSE technology.
Applications Hosted in Citrix by ITS
The following are some of the applications currently being hosted by Desktop Infrastructure's Citrix environment.
- HRIS - gives UNC campus departmental Human Resources facilitators access to personnel information.
- InDEPTh - allows UNC campus departments to use an individually customized system that integrates with the University's FRS central accounting system.
- GA Fixes Assets - a system for Inventory tracking and depreciation of the equipment for UNC General Administration and UNC-TV.
- PCaP Subject Tracking - maintains enrollment and follow-up data for the PCaP study at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
- Project CONNECT - a collaborative health services research project with Shaw University considering the recruitment and retention of African-Americans in health research projects.
- NBDPS - allows local study managers to maintain identifying information about study participants to track buccal specimen, diagnoses, and related information.
- Pinnacle - a TeleManagement System that will be used by ITS to handle telecommunications services as well as for Billing any ITS service.
- Worldox - an enterprise-capable document management system from World Software Corporation. Primavera - a bond management program.
