Web Presence
The Information Security Office (ISO) maintains a presence on the web at security.unc.edu. On every one of ISO’s web pages there is information on how to contact the office, as well as links to ongoing work on policies, definition of and information on how to secure sensitive information, reasons why to avoid illegal file-sharing, a basic security checklist, a list of FAQs, and other resources. There are also links to external sites, including the Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks and the SANS Top 20 Security risks. The Information Security Office maintains more than 100 individual documents in the campus Content Management System, which are all available via help.unc.edu. Lastly, ISO was also recently featured on the ITS home page.
