Presentations to Groups
The Information Security Office regularly conducts outreach programs in person, whether along the lines of an annual "Information Security Briefing", or something less formal, such as when a ISO staff member goes to a department to make a presentation to University employees. The ISO makes presentations at campus-wide IT events, such as the annual CTC retreat and also sponsors events on campus for vendors to come and talk about best practices. Additionally, individual members of the ISO have met with classes in various schools to talk about information security issues, whether that be to classes in network management protocols or to classes in Internet law. The ISO also hosts informal events to talk about issues such as vulnerability management or incident handling.
