Instructional Multimedia

What is Instructional Multimedia?

Instructional multimedia at UNC-Chapel Hill incorporates effective online teaching materials designed specifically for use in higher educational settings. The ITS Teaching and Learning Interactive Multimedia team provide the University with professional instructional multimedia development services, including instructional design, interactive programming, Flash animation, graphic design, audio and video production, project management, data tracking, and assessment.

Our collaborations with faculty create dynamic multimedia products that are part of larger blended learning solutions. Reusable learning objects, interactive content modules, and larger course redesign efforts are a few examples of the instructional multimedia services provided. We employ a proven process and weave the latest research on educational theories into our products, resulting in high-end educational media that is both visually engaging and instructionally sound.
