Student Affairs and ITS keep students connected through Rave

Student Affairs and Information Technology Services (ITS) will jointly fund the UNC Mobile communication program for the 2008-2009 academic year. This initiative, through a partnership with Rave Wireless, provides students with mobile phone-based tools that include applications for mobile learning and student services as well as new and enhanced personal safety features.

Games4Learning: Alternate Reality Games

A new Games4Learning event will explore "Alternate Reality Games" (ARGs) on Friday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m. in room 301 of Greenlaw Hall. Chad Haefele, Davis Library reference librarian and an experienced ARG player, will share his knowledge of and experience with ARGs and discuss how ARGs might be used to foster learning. Registration for the event is free.
