Call for IT Award nominations underway

The IT Awards honor any and all types of information technology support - from network administrators to PC support, from software developers to telecommunications.

ITS increases giving to SECC

The 2008 State Employee Combined Campaign saw a 33 percent increase in participation by ITS staff, while ITS giving increased by 21 percent.

Network information tool increases efficiency, reduces “data clutter”

Identifying the location of just one of the 40,000 computers across campus used to take time and effort. Troubleshooting a problem on that one machine was even more laborious requiring the launch of multiple applications and sorting through a lot of extraneous data.

Now a new network information application, created by ITS and available to University IT staff, makes location information instantly available and reduces troubleshooting time.
