What are Static Lists?

Static Lists give site contributors the ability to add, edit, and delete rows of content that is preformatted by the developers. This preformatted content is usually grouped together and repeated in multiple rows or columns of content.

The look and feel of the static list can vary depending on how it was developed. Images, links, and text can be displayed, and the structure of the list items can be repeated each time a contributor adds another row to the static list.

How Do I Edit a Static List?

When you are logged into your editable section, you can edit the static list by clicking on the Edit Region Content icon . The static list will open in edit mode. From this window, you can select a row of content with the mouse and add , delete , and edit rows of content, as well as move rows up and down .

To edit a row of content, click the edit icon to launch the static list row editor. From this window, you can apply text styles as well as insert and change the links. See the Inserting Links instructions to learn more about adding and editing links in the CarolinaContent system.

Click the Save (Update) icon to close the row editor and click it again on the static list editor to commit the changes.
