Inserting Images
To insert an image in the web-based editor, first navigate to your contribution environment and log in. For more information regarding the contribution environment and logging in, please see CarolinaContent Overview and CarolinaContent Login, respectively.
Inserting an image
Click the Edit Region Content
icon to open the editor. Once the editor window opens and the content has loaded, place the cursor where you wish the image to appear and click the Insert an Image
icon.
The Content Server Search Results window will open; choose an image by clicking the Select button in the appropriate row:

If the image is not available on the first screen of results, click the green Next button until you find the correct image, or use the Quick Search in the top right of the content server window. To check a new image in the content server, review the New Check-in documentation.
Note that once you click the Select button you are returned to the editor window with the image located where the cursor was placed.
Aligning an image
In order to align the image so the text wraps around it correctly, select the image by clicking it, and select “alignLeft” or “alignRight,” found under the Styles drop-down menu.

Modifying alternate text
By default, the value for the alternate (alt) tag given to an image is the metadata title of the image when it was checked in to Content Server.
You can modify the alternative text for the image by right-clicking the image within the editor and selecting Image Properties:

This will open the Image Properties dialog box:

Enter the desired text for the alt tag in the Alternate Text input field and click OK.
Click the Save/Update icon
to commit your changes to the file.
